DVLA SWEEPS TWO AWARDS AT THE ROLE MODEL EXCELLENCE AWARDS

The Driver Vehicle and Licensing Authority (DVLA) last Friday received two awards for Best HR, Technology Strategy and Best Employee Experience Strategy at the maiden edition of HR Role Model Excellence Awards held at Alisa Hotel in Accra.

The awards which were in recognition of the tireless work that the HR & Administration Department of the Authority have done using innovation and technology to improve efficiency and service delivery leading to the creation of a full functional HR Unit, brings to 34, the number of awards received by the Authority in the last four years.

It was also in recognition of the alignment of human resource development, reward and strategy to business objectives in order to incentivize and enhance productivity placed in “Double Business Plan” leading to the creation of compensation and benefits Unit under the HR directorate.

Deputy Chief Executive, in charge of Services Mr. Kwame Appiah Kubi, accompanied by the HR team from the head office and representatives from Kumasi, Tema and Wenchi offices of the Authority were present.
