PRINTED DRIVERS’ LICENCES

The Driver and Vehicle Licensing Authority (DVLA) wishes to inform all persons who have successfully gone through the process of acquiring or replacing their drivers’ license that, in spite of the technical challenges encountered by the Authority, recently, it has printed a lot of licenses and distributed them to all 28 operational offices for collection.

The Authority, therefore, appeals to all applicants who were given up to July, 2014 for the receipt of their licences to contact the relevant DVLA office for collection.

Besides, the Authority wishes to inform all persons who have, within the past few years, successfully gone through the process of acquiring a drivers’ licence but have not yet collected them, that it has printed over 23, 000 licences which have been distributed to all DVLA outstations for collection by their owners.

The Authority urges all concerned persons to, as a matter of urgency, contact the relevant DVLA office and collect their licences.

Management of the Authority wishes to assure all persons whose licence have not yet been printed, that every opportunity is being explored to help clear the backlog and to provide expeditious services to all customers.
