UNNACCEPTABLE BEHAVIOUR OF MIDDLEMEN AT DVLA OFFICES

It has come to the notice of the management of the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Authority (DVLA) the increasing spate of impersonation and forgery, which offences are perpetrated mostly by middlemen (GORO BOYS) who hang around offices of the Authority.

The Authority condemns those activities in no uncertain terms and wishes to assure customers and the general public that the Authority will do everything possible within its mandate to curtail the deplorable behaviour.

While the DVLA puts measures in place to deal with those abominable practices, customers are advised to, at all times, deal directly with staff members of the Authority in all their transactions and especially ensure that all payments are appropriately receipted so that, together, we can deal decisively with the problem once and for all.

DVLA, again, wishes to advise all middlemen (GORO BOYS) to cease, forthwith, their nefarious activities because any middleman arrested for any form of misconduct will be dealt with strictly according to the laws of the country.
